| Fingering or baby yarn. Needle size #2 or #3 CO. 29 stitches Rows 1-6 knit in garter stitch. Row 7 K10, K2 together, K5, psso, K10 Row 8,10,12,14,16, purl even. Row 9 K9, K2 tog, K5, psso, K9 Row 11 K8, K2 tog, K5, psso, K8 Row 13 K7, K2 tog, K5, psso, K7 Row 15 K6, K2 tog, K5, psso, K6 19 sts left on needle Row 17 - 19 Knit even Row 20 Purl even. Row 21 Knit even. Repeat rows 20 & 21 twice. Then work 2 rows of garter stitch Bind off very loosely, Knitwise. Cut yarn, leaving end long enough to sew down the back and sole of the bootie.
