With the premature birth of twin boys (born at 31 1/2 weeks) on October 30, 1999, a family in Central Ohio was caught completely unprepared by their early arrival. Even after being released from the hospital, the boys required continuous trips back to the hospital, a 110 mile round trip. With four other children to be cared for while the twins were going back and forth to the hospital, the father was forced to take unpaid leave from his job. You can see in the top photos the caps that are used to retain precious body heat.
