Wavy Boxes Baby Blanket

ã Ellen Lynch

This completely reversible pattern provides lots of texture, but is VERY easy to knit!  And there are no holes in which little fingers might get caught!

Materials:     4 - 5 skeins Bernat Baby Coordinates Yarn (I used Soft Blue)

Newborn Size: Size 11 (8 mm) 29" or 32" circular needle

(Can also use 1 strand worsted weight)

Tapestry needle

Finished Size:         Approximately 43"L x 40"W.  NOTE:  If you wish to make a smaller newborn blanket, reduce the number of cast on stitches by 9 or 18 and knit to the desired length.

Note:  The blanket has a garter stitch border around all 4 edges.
