How can you help???...this question can be answered with just one word, "VOLUNTEER"! Touching Little Lives is made up of all volunteers. While our Board of Trustees are responsible for insuring that our organization is operating in a responsible manner, and our Regional and Work Group Coordinators are responsible for organizing our efforts, Touching Little Lives IS its volunteers. Without our volunteers we can accomplish nothing and the needs of Ohio's needy babies will go unfulfilled. In an organization such as ours there is never such a thing as too many volunteers. When you look at our mission of making and providing necessity items to needy infants in Ohio, the obvious need for volunteers with sewing, knitting and crocheting skills is evident. If you enjoy doing these things, by all means get in touch with your closest representative of Touching Little Lives and find out how to join us. One of the wonderful things about our group is that we offer assistance during our Work Group meetings to those that have the interest and desire, but may be lacking in skills or just want to learn something new.

It doesn't stop there. There are so many jobs that have to be performed to allow Touching Little Lives to succeed and grow that literally everyone could participate. Finished items must be sorted and packed for delivery to get the right items to where they are needed most. If you drive, deliveries have to be made to the various agencies that assist us in our mission. If you have writing talent, we publish a monthly newsletter and would welcome your input. We are always looking for volunteers with good organizational skills and are willing to coordinate a work group meeting within their area. The list is absolutely endless, too long to include everything here. The reality is that everyone is welcome, all you need to have is the desire.

With Touching Little Lives there is no such thing as "too young" or "too old" to volunteer. We have 4-H Clubs, Girl Scout and Boy Scout troops, Camp Fire Girls, Church Youth Organizations, elementary and high school students working on community service projects, residents of senior citizen homes, all helping toward accomplishing our mission. Some of our projects, such as many of our quilts or neonatal positioning devices, are actually the work of several groups. One group will take the responsibility of cutting out the material, another group will stuff or piece them together, and yet another group will finish sewing the completed item, each group doing their part in providing for the babies of Ohio. Touching Little Lives is completely sponsored by caring citizens and local businesses within Ohio. If you feel you don't have the time to become actively involved, we would still invite you to assist in other ways. We are continuously in need of materials suitable to make baby items such as flannel, thread, batting, and yarn. You could assist by donating a ream of paper, a roll of stamps, a box of envelopes. The real issue is "VOLUNTEER", become a part of something that is making the difference in little lives in Ohio. Contact a local or regional coordinator today. Become a part of Touching Little Lives. Meet and make new friends state-wide. Find out what YOU can do. Don't wait -- do it today! Ohio's babies need you.
